I’ve written web content on just about every topic imaginable. From ‘about us’ pages to privacy policies and blog posts to landing pages, I can turn my hand to just about any subject and convey messages in any tone and style to build trust and authority and convert customers.

Content Strategy

I’m a firm believer in never writing for the sake of it. If the client wants to write for search engines and to attract traffic only, I’m happy to do it. However, if I can take the time to understand the business and their goals, I will formulate fully-fledged content plans to cover weeks or months of content production, with clear relationships between each piece and an overriding goal in mind.

Content Marketing

As a site owner myself, I fully understand that we could create the best content ever written, but it’s worthless if it’s not being read. I optimise all content for visibility, both in search and across social media. Client requirements matter too. If there’s an end goal in mind, such as broadening social reach or increasing sales, I’ll tailor my output to put those requirements first. Alternatively, I’ll assist in setting and reaching goals myself.

Ghostwriting

I enjoy working with clients that have something to say but need assistance to find their voice. I’ve ghostwritten weekly email newsletters, opinion and thought-leadership pieces and even entire books and pride myself in capturing the style and tone of the ‘author’ while putting across worthwhile messages.

My experience with WordPress and other CMS systems including Joomla, Drupal and Episerver ensures I can go a step further than most writers for clients, formatting, editing and posting content.

I’m familiar with all major SEO plugins, from Yoast to RankMath, and can advise on the technical and design considerations that can take a piece of content to the next level.

Featured Images and Associated Content

While I thrive on words, I fully understand that content combines perfectly with images to get noticed. From featured images to in-content graphics, I’ll source and position pictures in ways that enhance the words.

Affiliate Marketing

While writing is my passion, I also enjoy affiliate marketing and can transfer client-relevant skills to content I produce. From integration with popular plugins like AAWP and EasyAzon to the creation of reviews and buyers’ guides that make sense, I understand what affiliate sites require and draw on my own experience and expertise when writing in this format.
